03 - The Story

Why Auctions Changed Everything

I began my auction career in 2010 and earned my real estate license in 2011. From the start, I noticed something that bothered me: most sellers were told there was only one way to sell a property. List it, put a sign in the yard, and hope the right buyer shows up.

Auctions told a different story. A defined timeline. Competitive bidding where the market decides the price. Transparent process. Seller in control from start to finish.

I decided to build a practice around both paths. Today, I help clients across Northeast Ohio choose between traditional luxury listing and real estate auction, and I walk them through every step of whichever they choose.

Ohio's housing market has seen sustained growth. The statewide median sales price reached $278,000 in May 2026, a 4.8% increase year-over-year (source: Ohio REALTORS). Nationally, the median existing-home sale price hit $440,600 in June 2026 (source: National Association of Realtors). For luxury properties in the $1M+ range, auction campaigns typically run 45 to 60 days from start to closing, compared to three months or more for a traditional listing in many markets.

Solving people's problems related to real estate and business assets means I am making a difference in people's lives, and leaving a legacy bigger than myself.
